Riddhi Sen And Surangana Bandyopadhyay Celebrates Five Years Of Their Friendship
Riddhi Sen will be next seen in Bismillah directed by Indraadip Dasgupta. The actor will be seen opposite Subhashree Ganguly.
Actor Riddhi Sen and actress Surangana Bandyopadhyay are good friends and it is no secret in the industry. Today, Riddhi Sen has shared a post on his social account to celebrate their five years of friendship. He has even pen down a beautiful note along with the pictures. Both were seen together in Samantaral.
The actor wrote, “Amidst a pandemic , amidst chaos, amidst so many different opinions and perspectives , amidst restlessness , the most important thing we have realised is that there’s nothing called ‘settling down ‘ , you don’t know what’s coming next to unsettle your dreams , your version of reality, your species . ‘Happiness ‘? What does that mean ? As Andrei Tarkovsky says that ‘the world was not created for man’s happiness , though many believe that this the reason of our existence , I think we are here to fight , so that good and evil can clash within us . It’s difficult to say whether we are happy or not , it doesn’t depend on us ‘. I am so blessed that before we see a world where emotions can be calculated , algorithms will decide our taste , likes and dislikes , before an AI can decode Shakespeare and evolution will create robots to rule the world , I have got a friend where our friendship is not dependent on terms like ‘settling’ , the ever changing society around us becomes our strength , we don’t know how to label this relationship, it’s way too simple , the word ‘different’ doesn’t fit in any friendship neither can it find solace in ‘convention’ , for five years we were not searching for happiness , but we saw (and seeing) the clash of good and evil in each other , something which is not exactly changing us but making us more transparent , helping each other shed off the ‘excess’ , making us increasingly and incredibly ‘human’ .
